What to Expect When You Book a Class
What's included in lessons?
Most lessons will cover the following essentials to some degree. Other elements will be specific and relevant to the particular class.

Lessons vary in length, mostly in one-hour increments. Fees include a contribution towards the cost of day permits, baits, consumables and tackle.
Typical prices for individual 1-to-1 lessons: start at £35 for your first hour
Additional costs may apply for some lessons and/or venues, such as extra mileage and/or higher venue ticket prices.

Individual 1-to-1 Lessons
Perfect for first-timers and improvers
Our individual 1-to-1 lessons are designed for young people or adults who want to try angling for the first time, or improve their angling skills with the undivided attention of a qualified coach.
No pressure, no complicated equipment, and no experience needed.
The 1-to-1 nature of these lessons allows you to ask questions you might not want to ask in a group setting.
Beginner's lessons build on taster sessions.
Everything is provided, and the focus is on:
Learning the very basics.
Building on existing knowledge.
Relaxing and enjoying being outdoors.
This is about the experience, enjoyment and building confidence, rather than just catching lots of fish.

Taster sessions are for those who have never tried angling, but would like to have a go.

Focus Lessons 1-to-1 Coaching
Building on the general basics
Focus lessons are designed for anglers who have picked up the basics and want to concentrate on specific techniques.
Focus lessons build on beginner sessions using the undivided attention of a qualified coach.
Everything can be provided, however at this stage, you will probably have and want to use your own tackle that you are familiar with.
The focus is on:

This lesson teaches fishing on still water or canals with a rod and fixed spool reel using a waggler float.
